Very true!  We're modding the engine that came with the car.  Most
Honduh guys are driving hybrids.  Even more hybrid then my car
with parts from just about every model year.

Now lets compare a modded VVL in a B13 to modded civic.  Just
remember we aren't comparing apples to apples.
