Theoretical airflow question

Ok i'll admit I have tried this. When I was removing all the excess weight
from my car I came across my air condition/heater fan. It is a weird
circular thing with a rectangular output. I though it would be neat to see
if shoving air into my car would give some extra hp. Well I constructed a
adapter from a gutter collector piping. It converted the output side from
the large rectangular to circular shape. After this I caulked all the
cracks up and connected it up to the intake. Also i put two shop vac
filters at the mouth of the fan to filter out big debris. Then I extended
the original wiring to original fan switch. This is so I could select level
1,2,3,and 4. I never hooked up a boost gauge up too it. But I'd guess it
maybe had about 0 psi or 1 psi. Basically it got rid of the vacuum. Low
rpm was not improved but top end felt more willing to pull to redline.
Never did anymore testing because I removed the fan for a ram air affect
using a prm air filter. This setup feels just as good but is lighter and
looks much much better.
