By your logic, then cam changes would not effect total valve lift. We know
that's not true.

I'm not going to argue. I replaced the rockers, changed nothing else, and
the car runs much better. My wife even noticed. Done deal. Despite all the
mechanical reasoning anyone can offer, the "pudding" has proven otherwise.
