Hi Jason,

What you are looking at is the bottom of the JWT twin
POP charger.  On a stock bumper this is normaly hidden
from view but on the aftermarket bumper this car has
it is exposed.

A twin POP is using the airflow meter to feed only one
bank of cylinders and the other bank is open with no
MAF.  The ECU is programed to accept only 1/2 of the
signal and still meter correctly.

On Z's making more than about 450 hp, the twin POP
helps get more flow into the motor and helps
preventing the MAF from being driven voltage wise out
of it's range.
