adjusting Stillen camber plates q

When adjusting the camber plates, is negative camber
when the screws go closer inward (towards the
centerline of the car) or when the screws go outward?
Hope that makes sense.

Are the engraved tick marks suppose to be positioned
towards the rear or towards the front of the car or
does it matter?  Coz I have used motivational coil
overs with these plates and I'm not sure how to orient
them.
