What is so hard about giving good service?

first and foremost...*(don't blame the service guy, blame the Sales guy)*

ok...i work in the automotive industry and as everybody knows the industry is
down. But slowly and surely pickin up.. Even my company (which provides
automation to Major CNC machines you name it..EDM sinkers, EDM wires, Hard
mills, graphite mills..everything..) Almost every supplier to the industry
has almost knocked more than half of their inventory because they simply
can't afford to have all those unpaid spare parts just laying around..so they
ship em back to their previous suppliers for $$. Most of you guys know that
all major business owners are all MONEY HUNGRY HOES and they'll do almost
anything for money or to make a sale.

Most companies NOW what they do and ive seen this with my own eyes..tell the
customers they have the parts (but they don't) then ship a wrong part (on
purpose) so that the customer feels like he/she is getting the part. Already
expected the company is gonna wait till the customer complains (which 100%
they do)..and by the time all this time from shipping the wrong part and
customer complaints..the part they orginally wanted would usually be in
stock...then ready to be shipped...

Its a harsh world out there especially for those sales dudes that work for
commission so they will do anything..From what i see in the industry...expect
it to be like this for awhile till things pick up..All you CNC machine
operators out there *if any* ususally see it first if things pick up or not.
