Thanks Lawrence.

He was a great multi-talented guy, and someone I would often chat to
off-list (mostly because he was relaying encounters on the street with
people who didn't know about NX2000s with DET swaps...!)

He is missed.

I purchased my 1991 SE-R in March of 1991.? It was manufactured in 12/90.? ?That means I have owned it for 30 years.
That also means this email list has to be about that old as well.? Can you imagine an email list still alive 30 years later?? About a car?
It needs a little work at the moment.? Some days I think about getting rid of it.? Other days I say no way.?

I love to see this. My first SE-R was ruined by thieves while deployed, but
I still have my friend's NX that he got back in 2000. I just can't ever get
rid of it! Loved this platform/chassis since I got my first SE-R back in
high school. Joined this list in 1996 or so.

I didn't know him but sad to hear about Zak.?It is nice though to see several in our community are still involved with their SE-Rs & NXs.??I still have my '93 SE-R that I bought new but it's been in storage in the garage for a few years.? It needed some work and life has gotten in the way of taking care of it.? People keep telling me to sell it but I can't... one of these days I'll get her back on the road.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about Zak.

I got my SE-R in may of 1993, so I'm at 28 years. I'm at 30 or 31 with my
Fiat. The SE-R got caught up on deferred maintenance last year, though it
now needs exhaust work. I'd love to find another OE muffler to simplify
replacing the cat-back portion. This winter it got the luxury of sitting in
the garage and sitting out winter, since the Fiat is getting a body
restoration and that freed up a spot. I do think that life would be a bit
simpler with one or two fewer cars but I'm not willing to get rid of the
SE-R yet.
