14" tires

Continental is coming out with a new version of their excellent DW tires
(which I run on basically everything), and lucky for us, they're going to
make it in a 205-50/15.

Here's a thread talking about it on miata.net
https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=630864

And a snippet of that thread from Andy Hollis, who's been GRM go-to guy for
tire testing.

In the current issue of Grassroots Motorsports (Feb 2017) in the new
product news section the Extreme Contact Sport was featured. The article
did mention that the sidewall stiffness is increased by 20%. The tire was
"experienced" by GRM at a private track in Palm Springs, CA. The article
continued to relate that 72 sizes would be released all at once this spring
and specifically mentioned 205/50R15 and 205/45R16 sizes for Miata and
Honda. Pricing to be similar to the outgoing DW.
That was me.

And I just finished an autocross and skid pad test of these tires over the
weekend against the Michelin PSS on my ND. Waiting for my local track to
fully dry out from recent rains to do high speed track testing.

These will be VERY relevant tires for NA/NB Miata owners as a one-tire,
triple-duty solution (street, track, autocross) in all conditions (wet,
dry, cold, hot) above about 35 degrees or so.

In short, anywhere you'd have considered a PSS you should now consider the
Conti Sport. And since the Sport comes in 23" tall sizes (205/50-15 &
205/45-16) while the PSS does not, it's a big win for NA/NB Miata owners.
