LOL, I tried tapping and it didn't work for me. I tried tapping a little harder and it still didn't work. I tried tapping a lot harder and it still didn't work.... so I replaced it

Another data point. Just started up my 91 SE-R last week after it had been sitting outside untouched on a trailer for 4.5 years. It started right up! However, it was only running on 3 cylinders also. Swapped the fuel injector and it ran perfectly. You may try tapping on the injector while it running. Lots of times that will get it firing again.

You're right - it's easy-peasy, so I might as well.

I've been aware, in the back of my head, of Jim's point about the gas tank. I'd really rather not have to drop the tank and have it cleaned, at least not yet. When I drop the engine again maybe I will do that. I'm kinda crossing my fingers that new gas, injector cleaning, and a new filter(s) will take care of it.

Very easy to do, can't hurt.
