Tint Removal

What worked for me in my old NX and purple tint was, get this, Stainless Steel pot scrubbers.

Yes, SS pot scrubbers you can pick up for a few dollars and they are safe on the rear window defroster tape (oddly enough)

Chemicals and such really didn't do the job very well at all.

 Taking it somewhere to get redone they will remove it first.    The only window that is an issue is a rear window with defrost.    Those you obviously can't scrape.     Ammonia based window cleaners will remove the glue.
