one last try: looking for SR20 engine version info

I swear that some years ago I saw a page that gave all the different versions of NA SR20s, and I think it had serial numbers, too. I'm trying to find something, if it's out there, that will let me determine whether a particular engine is a high-compression engine by its serial number. Maybe this can't be determined. 

I've done some looking at the usual places and can't find anything. Eitehr it doesn't exist or my search-fu is not mighty enough. Hopefully the latter. anyone?
