When I bought my 95, I was in the same boat having only driven a friend's manual that morning for a half hour.  My Dad, however, followed behind me patiently on a very heavily travelled highway and I picked the car up *RIGHT* at the evening rush hour... I couldn't wait till later in the evening when the road would be quiet; I had to have the car NOW!  Of course I hit EVERY traffic light between the dealership and home (25 miles on that one road)

My daily is now an automatic.  I'm different than most of you I think in that I prefer the automatic for daily driving.
