SE-R Replacement

I bought a new Evo IX last January for the SE-R 'fix' myself. Although I
will say my 200 is in very great shape, no dings/dents or one spec of rust
anywhere. Only 88k on the odo to boot! It is a fully completed project car
for me, as everything I planned to do to it, is done. Once I got into AutoX
a couple of years ago and got serious with it I quickly found that it wasn't
delivering the level of competitive performance I desired. I was competing
against RSX's, 240's, S2000's in SM.

In addition I don't have the time that I once had nor the desire to mod
another car now owning a business and having two kids. I test drove the Evo
and it seemed to be the evolutionary step up (no pun intended). It comes
pre-modded(LOL), just add gas and have fun. After owning the car for a year
it gives me grins everytime I jump in it and drive it. Last weekend I got a
tune and picked up 60whp. I can now oversteer at will with a quick blip of
the throttle.

I drove a friends X and thought the level of refinement has increased
tremendously, however, because of that, the hard edge the Evo had seems to
be softened. I understand that Mitsubishi is trying to widen their
demographic but they have priced the car into a segment that has much more
desirable cars for the same price IMHO.

I have faced the fact that I will NEVER buy another car for the
price/performance/fun ratio that the SE-R was. I feel so lucky to have
bought that car at the time I did and to find a great community of friends,
many of which will be lifelong.
