Ignition wiring question.

That's what someone else thought. They knew some ignitions check for 
mis-fires, but weren't sure if that was what it was for. It seems you're 
  pretty confident that it is something along those lines. I will pass 
along the info, and hopefully I won't have to buy another ignition coil 
just to by-pass this problem.
