I don't have any Auto-X experience with these particular tires (yet) BUT I
put some Federal 595's on the Skyline last fall (235-45x17). Love them so
far. If you are mainly/to exclusively street driving, might look at them
over the Falken and Hankooks. If you are heavily Auto-Xing, look elsewhere
because the other two will out stick these. That said, these do have a nice
wide tread block on the shoulder but they are still very good in the rain.
Very quiet! A little higher tread wear rating (harder) than the Falkken and
Hankook offerings. One always has to weigh what comprimise they are willing
to make. The 595's were very inexpensive from Les Schwab. My wife's Altima
has the Falken 452(?) competitior to the Federal 595 and they are noisey as
hell.
... Ill be using them on the street, mostly dry but some wet days.
