Battery Cable Uncomfortably Short

Recently, my '94 G20t has developed a bad positive battery cable
connection. Turning the ignition key shorts out the circuit, and I
have to jiggle the wire to get it to start. A previous owner had
installed clamp-on battery terminals, and shortened the cable in doing
so, putting stress on the connection.

Since the positive battery wire is a part of a $400+ wiring harness,
is there a kit or a method to add a few inches to this wire?
Something like a terminal that's crimped onto a pigtail, which can be
butt-spliced with the factory wire?
