Mostly an ego / attitude thing.  A Civic Si screams "rice boy" and I
do not want to be associated with that culture.  Whle the RSX has
lots in common, and no doubt some riced-out samples running around,
it just seems a little more mature and serious than the Civic.  Plus
I don't have to say "I drive a Civic."

I also prefer the styling, esp the interior, and there were a couple
to choose from at the Acura place, vs none at Honda.  Realisticily ,
the RSX is slightly (90lbs) lighter, though it lacks a LSD.
