5th gear pop-out refresher.

Not to ask the same question twice or anything. I appreciate the help guys.
But what would happen if I just rebuilt the transmission, without replacing
the engine mounts? Should this still solve the problem? Were the engine
mounts the cause to begin with?
I plan on replacing the mounts and rebuilding the tranny. But is there
something I could do first/otherwise? I mean, the '94 tranny isn't supposed
to do this...
