That sounds odd to me.  I just take out the
bolts that hold it in the steering knuckle
and I just wiggle the sensor out.  Sometimes
you need to use a flathead screwdriver to
pry it free but it just comes out.  After
that just disconnect the electrical
connection.  That should do it.
