Either your eating bananas right now or you just don't know.  The input
shaft is a PAR piece.  Since 1st - 4th are integral to the input shaft
one would need a new input shaft when using gears that are not stock.

So in fact a PAR input shaft twisted and he is referring to
Jack Laverty.
