Something we all tend to forget that even though SE-Rs are fun, they're
still economy cars.

I've never heard of '97s being stronger. JGY Customs
(http://www.jgycustoms.com/) has full transmission treatment programs (to
extend OEM gearset life in the 250-ish WHP range) as well as full-race
gearsets that should be able to handle 400+ HP. Give him a shot.

JWT, somewhere in the bowels of their development dungeon, has a
Maxima/Spec-V transmission that they want to fit to earlier B13/B14/P10
bodies. That'll rock, once it happens. Give it a decade or so... ;)
