Short Shifters

Hey all,
I was looking through the archives of the sr20 forum and i came upon the
short shifter topic.  It's almost a year old so i was seeing what the advice
is today about them?  It seems like B&M, Pacesetter, and some other name
brands are all good buys, but what do you guys think about the ones on ebay
for $20?  For example:

Is there a reason why they're so cheap?  What are your thoughts?  Thanks
