No reverse in LSD tranny, help!

Hi, All:

I just finished putting a LSD transmission from a 97 SE-R into my 92 P10.

The problem is shifting INTO 1st - 5th is relatively smooth but I cannot
get it into reserve in anyway. I can shift out of 1st, 3rd and 5th easily
but for 2nd and 4th, I need to hit it hard to get it to come out. Even when
the car is off, the problem is the same.

I got the LSD tranny from an online junkyard, so I don't know what was the
state of the tranny but I have researched everywhere and hardly find people
with problem shifting into reverse. So, I have nothing to reference to.
What could be the problem? Could it be because the tranny was sitting for
too long without fuild and the gear got stuck or something?

I have been driving it for the past 5 days (approx 40 miles a day) but the
problem is the same. Any help will be appriciated.
