In a recent SR20 forum discussion about clutches, one member mentioned
the CAP Clutch Manufacturing product line (
http://www.capclutch.com/index.html) .

CAP makes a HD version that is claimed to provide a 30% increase in
clamp load (same as the JWT pressure plate) compared to stock. The kit
sells for $169.50 plus shipping and includes the HD pressure plate,
"stock" disc, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, and clutch alignment
tool. They also have heavier models that can handle more torque, and a
stock replacement model for $99.50.

One member on the forum and one in the mailing list archives have used
the CAP HD clutch in their SE-R and had good results. Has anyone else
had any experience with this product? I think it's looking like a
reasonable product for my application -- SE-R with boltons producing 150
WHP.
