First, set the screw back to where it was, or about half-way through it's
adjustment.  Then:

 - Warm engine (to normal range, that is, not cold).
 - Disconnect TPS.
 - Rev three times past 3000 RPM.
 - Set screw to appropriate idle speed (800-ish RPM?).
 - Reconnect TPS.
 - Shut engine off.

If you don't follow at least these steps, in that order, the idle will not
change.  You have to get the ECU's attention!  The computer will simply
continue to compensate for the screw if you *don't* follow these steps.
