Porsche GT3s use a ceramic braking system, do they not?
Ceramic coating on the braking surface of the rims was going to be 'a big
thing' for mountain bike wheels at one point, but the coating tended to
flake off after impacts with rocks etc. Hyraulic disc brakes with cast iron
rotors are what most people now use :)
