Popping Sound

A really really loud popping sound when I'm backing the car out of the
garage. It's only when I back up from a stand still from a cold start... not
when the car's been running around the streets.

It's actually one loud pop. I've recently gotten new wheels/tires, front
rotors, and painted the calipers all the way around. Torqued everything down
correctly, brakes work fine, had an alignment after the wheel/tire install.

I don't know how to describe it. The first time I heard it, it sounded as if
I'd had too much air in the rear tires, ran over something and the tire(s)
blew.

The only other thing(s) is the emergency brake fully releasing when I back
up or a spring/suspension part unloading for whatever reason.

Don't know what to look at/for... don't know if I'd recognize a problem even
if I saw it, i.e. if something is out of place, I wouldn't recognize it as
such... not enough experience, I suppose.

Thanks for your help and input,

Later,
Mark
