Through and through this thread of discussion continues to make me feel
good about my choice of friends and my choice of hobby. When something
breaks, AAA tows it to a driveway or home garage for free, not to a
shop or dealer. I've heard more horror stories about car repair, even
in the last few weeks, and this makes me glad that I don't have to rely
on some monkey with a wrench (I'd rather be that monkey). For those
with the time and desire, network with local gearheads, SE-R people,
etc. They are a helpful bunch. I came so close to ditching my SE-R a
few years back but the friends I had made were enough for me to keep it.

Unless it's under warranty, I see no need to bring it into a shop- but
ESPECIALLY a dealership.
