We do not have received any information that Nissan is developing an
S16, but since the Skyline is
being "sedanized", the only sports coupe car in Nissan lineup will be
only the Z and Silvia.
In that case, we can we can await that Nissan will pour great effort
regarding the next generation Silvia.
Considering that the chassis or platforms are becoming the same across
different models, the body would
share elements with the Skyline XVL and the engine would be the 280PS
SR20VET currently used on the
XTrail!.  But since the platform, like stated before is an XVL, the code
would be V16 instead of S16.  This
could be the reason that the new S16 hasn't appeared yet.
