jacking up a Classic

Assuming you have a floor jack, just put it under the crossmember that runs
fore & aft under the powertrain (looks like two ~1.5" pipes right next to
each other.  This is always the best way to raise the front end of a FWD
car, I've done it hundreds of times, it is definitely NOT necessary to jack
each side separately.  Make sure you place the jack cradle back far enough
so the jack doesn't want to slide along the crossmember toward the front of
the car when jacking.
