No it is not. They are completely different systems that do completely
different things at different times. The FSM has good info on this.

As far as the new gen "high flow" cats go, well, I spit on them. On a turbo
car in the 200 hp range, you get about 15-25 HP difference between a "high
flow" and a test pipe. 25-35HP on a 300HP car, and 50-60 on a 400HP car.
Those are typical WHP numbers, too.

Now removing a cat on a NA SR20DE is just stupid. Nothing to be gained
there.
