You only need the C clamp if you're replacing worn pads with new pads. Think
about it. The piston only return's a fraction of an inch when you remove
your foot from the brake. That little bit of room allows the you to pull the
pads out. Now if you put on new pads, they're going to be allot thicker, and
will not fit, so you use the C clamp to push the piston back in. FYI - this
won't work on the rear calipers. You can push on those puppies till you pop
a vein in your forehead, but they won't move. They need to be rotated, and
screw in
