A bit apples and oranges, here, but I've had two sets of AVS Intermediates
and currently have Potenza S-03s on the SE-R.  Potenza IS a bit better than
the AVS-I in dry traction and quite a bit better in wet.  Only 4k miles on
the Bridgestones before I parked the SE-R so I don't know how wear
compares.
