Really, George? They were better than Potenza S-03's or Toyo T1-S's?
Honestly, I'm not trying to be a wise ass... especially with all the help
you've given me over the last year.
I was originally going to get the S-03(195/50/15)... great dry/wet traction,
not so good treadwear, heavy beasty tires. Then decided on the Toyo
T1-S(205/50/15) that have the same rating for dry/wet traction, better wear,
heck of a lot lighter(17 lbs. for the 195, 18 lbs. for the 205).
If you say the Yoko's rank "up" there, I'd love to save some moolah(
otherwise known as diaperdollars, in this household).
Thanks for asking the question, Frank. And, thanks for the info, George and
Mike. Time to hit tirerack.com and do some research.
Later,
Mark
