Sure.  I don't like to pay for the Mobil brand, so I use Valvoline
instead.  I've read documents that indicate it to be just as good in
street conditions with long service intervals, so I save three dollars
or so per oil change.  USE A NISSAN FILTER, THOUGH.

Cool.  Redline MT-90 is cheaper and in many cases a lot easier to get
ahold of.

Gates is the manufacturer you want.  It doesn't matter what brand (NAPA
and CarQuest both use Gates, I think Advance/Parts America use Gates,
too).
