OK, all you guys out there I think I've made my decision. Here is what I
decided.................

Volk TE-37 graphite color (special order) 14X6 +38offset (weigh about 7LBS)
with Titaniun Lug nuts.
Toyo T1-S or Dunlop SP8000 195X55X14 weigh 16.8LBS and 17LBS respectively.
So total wheel tire combo is under 25LBS as opposed to 33LBS
I've considered 15" and 16", each having it's own issues,and since I'm solely
into Drag racing I'm thinking this should give me a reasonable improvement in
the power to weight ratio, plus tha advantage of less weight at the
circumference, and the slightly shorter gearing due to the 14" tire. 22.4D.
14" versus 22.7D. 15"
I want to build the best power to weight ratio naturally aspirated street car
possible at a reasonable budget.
Am I nuts to go with forged wheels on this combination? And no, I don't feel
I need to upgrade the brakes for street driving.
