the inside screws and brackets. Take your time, it can get messy if you
hurry. Used some Goop Off to clean some of the stray black sticky stuff,
then used 2 bead widths of RTV all the way around, screw and bracket
holes
and where ever there <<
Now the problem with using RTV is that if you ever have to take the tail
lights off again you are going to have a hard time. You used 2 beads? I
applaud your effort but to my knowledge it was the wrong way to do it.
Wonder why the manufacturer doesn't use RTV? You should have went to an
autoparts supply store and bought some more dum dum (the black gooey
stuff),
stripped the trunk of its carpeting and sprayed the rearend of the car
with
a hose while you look for the leak. Then apply the dum dum to the areas
that
is leaking.
Just for everyone else, try to get the Dum Dum before you use RTV.
