how do you get fuel injectors out?

NO! Do Not put any force on the nozzle end. You can damage the nozzle or
the plastic deflector ring.
After removing the obvious metal retaining caps, there is only the friction
of two o-rings holding them in (no c-clips). I use a channel-lock pliers
to grasp the flats on the top plastic part, and twist and pull. This may
mar up the plastic some, but it's only cosmetic, you won't hurt
anything. You could probably use tape or rubber pads to minimize that, if
you like.
When re-installing, I like to replace all the rubber parts - including the
"doughnut" into the manifold and the "insulator" under the metal cap just
for good measure. But the o-rings ABSOLUTELY must not be reused!
