procarparts.com strut bar issues

Just got one from a friend - 'installed' it and... the strut bar has
contact with the underside of the hood. It makes a vibrating noise upon
deceleration or switching gears.
Does anyone have this particular bar on their b14's? Any way to fix this
issue? I was thinking of rotating the bar vertically a bit...
Note: the website says its a '95-99 NISSAN SENTRA FRONT STRUT BAR'
