The brakes, wheels and tires are on!
For anyone who's been following my story, I have some updates.
After hydrolocking my engine, and finally realizing it was doomed (Thanks to
Greg Vogel, Mark Holden, and Erik a devries. They made it pretty clear my
engine was toast.) I was able to move on with my car. Now somewhere there is
a G20 without an engine, and my car lives again. I still need to change over
the valve cover, A/C compressor and alternator from my old engine. But that
can wait.
A quick stroll from Cape Cod, Massachusettes to Columbia, South Carolina
with some friends and the install began.
Longer stud bolts went on with the help of an air hammer.
Brakes went on without a problem.
Sadly, I took pictures of them with the rotor on the wrong side. Don't
worry, they are mounted correctly now.
The wheels needed 10 mm spacers to clear the calipers, even after all my
maticulous researching, and all my efforts to get more brake clearance from
the wheel manufacturer and Brian at fastbrakes. A local speed shop supplied
the crappiest set of spacers I've seen in my life ($6 a piece) so I will be
ordering some from H&R very soon. (Sorry, no pics of crappy spacers at the
moment.) On a side note, does anyone make 10 mm hubcentric spacers?
Bleeding the brakes went well for my first time, and a firm pedal was
obtained after using one (1) half pint bottle of Motul RBF 600 brake fluid.
I'm now stuck with 5 bottles that will probably last me a lifetime. Anyone
need some motul?
I'm pretty proud of the way things went. I look forward to working on the
suspension and am very grateful for the help and advice I get from this
list.
I'm going to post some links to some pictures, and would appreciate any
input that any of you come up with. Also, I love answering questions. I
believe this is the first fastbrakes kit behind 15" panasports.

I had to remove the fastbrakes metal logo for a couple mm of clearance.
Sorry Brian =(
