Im not metallurgist... or what ever, but Ive seen a lot of people power coat wheels. Ive never seen it be a problems. Your breaks can make that much heat, but the only thing it ever does is melt off the plastic center caps. It would have to be one junky wheel to not be able to take 400 degrees. -sean > Any of you metallurgist types have an opinion on this? Could 25 minutes at > 400 degrees weaken a wheel?
