The best and easiest way to separate ball joints from the knuckle is the following: 1. Get a BFH. 2. Hit the knuckle on the side where the control arm bolt goes through. 1-2 good whacks should do it. Same thing to remove the tie-rod. No special tools, no prying. Lee
