White Gauges Install

I am trying to install white gauges on my 1992 SE-R and have a problem. I
have read Alex Lopez instructions, but on my '92 SE-R, the cluster won't
pull out far enough to unhook the speedo and other connectors. I cannot get
my hands up through the bottom, sides or top, since there is some plastic or
metal enclosures all around. I have removed the metal reinforcement piece
underneath the steering column, too. It looks like you could get to it from
the top if the dash board were removed. Tell me it isn't so. Do I tilt the
cluster up, down, keep pulling, remove more, what?
