BTW when i was at the convention i remember helping one of the guys there
(sorry don't remember your name) with a white classic and a GTIR swap that
had the problem with the broken extension tube for his oil sender / turbo
feed.
Looks like you came up with the perfect product to fit the bill.

Jonesin' for the turbo power.
Yeah, that was me at the convention. I really appreciate all the help Rick
and the other guys that gave up being at the raffle to help me get my car
back on the road. It reminded me of a Nascar pitstop! I had a brass
extension coming out of the block about 2" so that the HUGE Autometer Oil
Pressure sending unit would clear the GTi-R block. Just like was mentioned
earlier, it broke right at the threads going into the block from the
vibration. I now have SS braided line running to the firewall where I
mounted the unit. It sounds like George has come up with the perfect
solution for the DE. I'm still curious how much room there would be on the
GTi-R block with the oil cooler in the way though.
I also like the radiator hose adaptor. I recently had to tap a water line
for a place to mount my sending unit. I can testify that both these products
are needed! One question though, would the water temp sending unit be
exposed to flowing coolant with the thermostat closed? Folks probably
aren't too interested in water temp when it's closed anyway, but I was just
curious.
