Anodizing

I was wondering if the valve cover on a sr20 is aluminum, if so I would like
to get it anodized blue and/or red. Also, are there any benefits or
undesirable qualities that come with anodizing a valve cover? I would also
like to know how much such a procedure would cost, as well as where I can get
it done, local would be preferable (I live in Dallas) but I can ship it out,
because its not like I am going to be driving the car anytime soon. Thanks for
any help.

JWT ECU is in the mail.
