Trying to help diagnose some weird problems with a friend's GTiR swap into a
92 SE-R classic.
The setup is: JWT 3bar, 72# injectors (w/ resistors), 300zx TT upgrade fuel
pump, cobra maf (brand new), T03/T04e turbonetics 50 trim, tial wastegate,
mallory adjustable fpr and thats pretty much it. 2.5" downpipe to 3"
exhaust, and i think the rest is stock IIRC.
The car won't pull past 5k rpm. It only makes about 11psi (or is it
inches?) of vaccuum at idle, but it'll make 15 if we pull the tps. the tps
has been checked, and the voltage is within spec (.45-.55 and over 4.0 at
WOT). We hooked up an MSD ignition to it w/ brand new plugs and wires, so
we know its not spark related.
What I could really use is a vacuum diagram. This thing was a complete mess
when he brough it to us. it was making 60psi of fuel pressure at the rail,
there were vacuum lines randomly disconnected, the wastegate was barely
connected - it was awful.
