Their making them, because Im paying them too :-) Im sure if there is
enough interest, or if they see some demand, they could stock such a sleeve,
considering thats all they do, and they have no sleeves for the Nissan
platform, this would be a great project for them to jump into our market.

Once all the details about the design reach a few more people, Ill refine
the drawing and leave it for people to use. Question, isnt there a 90mm
piston for the 300ZX that fits out there already? Im sure thats in the
archives but I didnt look all that hard.

Stock bore is 86 mm. The bore size out of the box will be 3.400" +/- 0.002"
or about 86.36mm. Once installed, youll have to resurface the top and
bore/hone the sleeve to the correct size according to the piston choice.
This is why Im going with this particular dimension on the rough finish
bore. The plan is to have a sleeve that will fit 88mm - 90mm
pistons....kinda like a universal fit situation, but for the SR20. Youll
need a torque plate to bore and hone these properly. This design would also
accomodate an 87mm piston, but its been proven that you dont need sleeves
for a 1mm overbore.

Yes it would.....George, Mike, Rob....anyone??? From Darton, they wont do a
sleeve with less than 0.093" wall thickness. Im sure they have their
reasons.
