AD22VF upgrades?

Did he offer them to you at some price??

Assuming the rotors are straight and the calipers are not dried out

or have leaky seals I would think $150 might be reasonable for ten

year old brakes.  Surely no more than $200.  Courtesy sells the

package new for about $350 (but only in exchange for the NX cores

at a $120 core charge).  You checked the junk yards yet to see

what they can be bought for in your area?  The calipers can be rebuilt.
