35 offset with 16x17.5

We put my 16x6" rims (same as current SE-R, older Altimas) on Dave
Miller's Beater G, and the rear rim hit something in the rear
suspension.  I could have sworn that my rims had a 40mm offset, but if
both of our numbers were correct, Kerry's rims couldn't possibly fit
(wider rim, deeper offset).  Tucking under the fender lip is a different
story, though...
