Wiring harness connector

Peter is right, I was thinking about the extra connector in my '91.  The
connector, this one: http://www.sr20deforum.com/eric/misc/connector.JPG  is
for the automatic cars.  The other connector I was talking about is this
one: http://www.sr20deforum.com/eric/misc/connector2.JPG  Does anyone know
what this connector is for?  I've never really looked under the hood of an
auto B14, so maybe its for that transmission.  The FSM doesn't show it.

The one I found was taped to the outside of the
> wire loom running to the back of the thermostat housing, under the
> distributor. Looks like it could be long enough to drop down to the
